Chelsea appear to have suffered another injury blow after Levi Colwill was replaced in the side to face Aston Villa following a pre-match setback.

As a result, right-back Alfie Gilchrist, who was on the bench, replaced the 20-year-old in the starting XI.

Chelsea have been rocked by injuries for much of the season and now Colwill has joined that lengthy list. The former Brighton loanee is now among an absentee list that includes captain Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Robert Sanchez, Nicolas Jackson, and more
Chelsea have won the FA Cup on eight occasions, the last of which came in the 2017/18 season when they beat Manchester United 1-0. The Blues are the joint-third highest winners of the competition, one ahead of Villa who have triumphed seven times.
After this FA Cup clash, Chelsea return to Premier League action when they travel to Jurgen Klopp's table-topping Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday. It remains to be seen if Colwill is fit enough to play.
